Since the 1950s, the cabin crew uniform has been very feminine, professional and stylish and of course, it was a job that was predominantly for females, many of whom were ex-nurses. There were very strict standards for hair, make up, footwear and appearance in general and weight gain was definitely not an option. But today, cabin crew uniforms are slowly changing.
