Indian aviation is experiencing some serious supply problems. Some more prodigious than others. When one thinks of supply chain issues in the aviation industry, parts, engines, or even planes are the first ones to come to mind. However, Indian full-service carrier Vistara is facing a rather odd shortage. The airline is running out of uniforms for its cabin crew members due to problems getting the required material.
Anyone with an upcoming flight on the airline may witness an unusual sight onboard the aircraft. As an interim measure, some of the carrier’s cabin crew might be seen sporting a pair of trousers and polo t-shirts until the supply chain issues are dealt with.
The airline says that it is working with its uniform supplier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and assured customers irrespective of the cabin crew’s uniform, they can expect the world-class customer service to continue.
