Miami-based ICO Uniforms has acquired Red the Uniform Tailor (RTUT). The company made the announcement on its website last month. Details concerning the acquisition were not made public.
ICO is a leading provider of image and corporate apparel specializing in contemporary uniforms that blend fashion, function, execution and sustainability. Their global partnerships include a diverse portfolio of hospitality and corporate brands, and their supply chain-flexible approach to production allows clients to creatively, sustainably and continuously dress the people that bring their brand to life and propel their organization forward.
Red the Uniform Tailor has been designing, manufacturing and distributing uniforms to the hospitality industry for over forty years. It offered customers personalized service combined with a respected line of private label made-to-measure high-quality uniforms and related apparel. The acquisition gives RTUT the ability to leverage ICO’s expansive and ever-modern in-stock line, global production strategy and internal resources to provide an elevated uniform experience to all customers.
The Canadian company Unisync acquired the hospitality division of RTUT in 2019 and recently sold the brand to ICO Uniforms.
