Congratulations to Carrington Textiles and BODI.ME, who each received top honors at the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW) Summit and Awards, held earlier this month in Porto, Portugal.
Specialist size and fit technology company Bodi.Me was presented with PCIAW’s Transformational Technology Award at an awards ceremony November 9th. Its non-intrusive and highly accurate Size-Me 3.0 solution, impressed the judges with its potential to support the professional clothing industry towards its sustainable goals.
A build on Bodi.Me’s existing Size-Me platform, the Size-Me 3.0 solution was developed in collaboration with Incorporatewear and Marks and Spencer, in order to support the high street retailer’s transition to its new gender-neutral staff uniform, plus support M&S’ sustainability goals by helping to reduce uniform returns, thanks to its exceptionally high degree of accuracy. To further support M&S colleagues, the Size-Me 3.0 also introduced an ultra-user-friendly approach by incorporating a set of straightforward and familiar questions for each wearer to address, with no intrusive photos or body scans needed.
Lara Mazzoni, CEO and co-founder of Bodi.Me commented on the award win:”This award is truly special to us as it not only recognizes Bodi.Me’s strength as a technology innovator, but also our ability to deliver highly tailored solutions that really make a difference to our customers’ businesses and the professional clothing industry overall.”
