This week the The Network Association of Uniform Manufacturers & Distributors (NAUMD) published a NAUMD App on the Apple Store and Google Play Store. The NAUMD App facilitates association members connecting with each other on a secure, private platform. 

Members can view other registered member profiles, private message them and follow them, similar to how popular social media platforms such as LinkedIn work, but this App is private. The NAUMD App includes a news feed from the association’s main website at naumd.com. All the members’ profiles, content and activity is synced with the NAUMD member portal at TheUniformNetwork.com.

A key feature of the NAUMD App is facilitating the NAUMD Network Groups, where members can meet, discuss and post information related to targeted segments of the industry. Popular network groups include Image Apparel, Public Safety, Workwear, Sustainability and Distributors Only. These groups meet every eight weeks online and the notes from these meetings are posted and discussed in the NAUMD Member Portal and new companion NAUMD App.

“There is great value for our members to have a place they can post news, share ideas and network with supply chain partners. Our growing member portal and now its companion app are a big step forward in providing value for our members,” says Rick Levine, executive director for the NAUMD.

The NAUMD is composed of fabric mills, uniform manufacturers, image apparel distributors and public safety uniform and equipment dealers. There are over 1,200 contacts at more than 200 companies participating in the association. 

A few hundred members have already registered and created their profiles in the NAUMD App. Guests are welcome to create an account at TheUniformNetwork.com and download the App as well. These non-member accounts can not connect, message or join groups however.
