NAUMD, a global network of uniform manufacturers and distributors, has just launched a new level of membership for individuals interested in learning, growing professionally, and being a part of an industry association alongside their peers and mentors. The NAUMD Professional Membership is now available to any person who is employed, contracted, or involved in the uniform, image apparel, workwear, or public safety equipment industry. Membership in the association was exclusive to companies prior to the announcement.

An employee’s company does not need to be a NAUMD member in order to take advantage of professional membership. “This affiliation gives employees at any stage of their career, in any company, member or non-member, an opportunity to show their commitment to the industry and to further their knowledge base,” Rick Levine, NAUMD executive director said. “A professional membership says that you – and not just your company – is an expert, a person dedicated to his or her craft. It allows you to demonstrate to others your professionalism, and can help distinguish you in the minds of current and potential customers.”

NAUMD professional members receive exclusive access to member-only events and network opportunities that build life-long industry relationships. Individuals will be kept up to date with breaking industry news through NAUMD’s The Pulse newsletter and The Insider, a members-only publication. Members will also receive access to educational material, events, and broadcast channels for management, sales, and industry-related training. Professional members will be listed in NAUMD’s member and industry directory, a new benefit of membership coming in 2022.
