Michigan-based Edwards Garment last week announced the promotion of three members of its sales team. Chip Danby was named vice president of sales, uniform and custom; Brian Deissroth was promoted to senior director of sales, promo & international; and Ronda Kokenge assumed the role of director of sales, key accounts and inside sales.
Chip joined the EdwardsX custom apparel division in August 2023 as division vice president of sales. Chip brings over 20 years of experience in the apparel and uniform industry to Edwards and has helped establish our custom apparel footprint over the past year. Chip’s role will expand by focusing on uniform accounts as well continuing his efforts on EdwardsX our custom apparel division. Danby adds, ““We look forward to continue to add value building on the strengths of Edwards while enhancing the customer experience.”
Ronda has been with Edwards for six years where she began as a territory manager before transitioning into sales leadership for the past few years. Ronda’s role will increase as she now manages key accounts, internal sale processes and the Edwards Inside sales team which provides exceptional service to our sales team and customers.
Brian joined Edwards in December 2022 and has brought with him a new level of excitement and energy to the sales team. Spending much of his time traveling the country supporting Edwards’ national buying group partners, Brian has been instrumental in spreading the new Edwards message of modern and contemporary. Brian’s previous success as Director of National Accounts at Edwards will now expand as he focuses on all promotional accounts and Edwards’ growth internationally. Deissroth says, “I am excited and looking forward to expanding our service levels and continuing to improve the experience of our partners, while continuing to educate the marketplace on the value of uniform sales and Edwards Garment as a whole.”
Chip, Brian and Ronda will work closely with Edwards President and CEO Jose Gomez. About this change to the Edwards sales leadership, Gomez says, “We are very excited of these promotions that bring experienced leaders like Chip, Brian and Ronda to head our sales teams in delivering results going forward. This decision comes after a deep review of the needs of our core channels, to further enhance how we present Edwards as a company and its brands in different markets, and how we continue adapting to the changing needs on those environments.”
