It’s a short rewind this week and for the next five months, as The Pulse shines the spotlight on NAUMD’s 2021 award winners. First up: Resorts World, who took top prize in the gaming category of the Image of the Year (IOY) Award® competition. Resorts World was also named overall winner, or “Best of the Best.” Design Collective by Cintas produced the program.
There are currently 3,200 wearers of the Resorts World program; the attire is a mix of ready to wear, modified, and custom garments that support the overall goal. Casino floor uniforms are in cool hues of blue to coordinate with the interiors of the space. They are simple yet sophisticated, with mandarin collars that pay homage to Asian culture. Cocktail dresses are uniquely designed to make an iconic statement about the property. Some dresses are embellished with over 700 Austrian crystals, while others are hand beaded with double reinforced sequin and glass seed beads.
The valet and outdoor employees wear polos, shorts and trousers with moisture-wicking properties that keep the wearer comfortable while looking their best. Security are attired in eye-catching red jackets, adding a colorful statement throughout the property. Garments are well tailored, yet provide ease of movement which is essential for this job function.
