Wilson Brown Socks Named an Official Licensed Vendor for Made in USA Socks for the America250 Movement

Oct 29, 2025 | NEWS

Wilson Brown Sock Company, a long-time NAUMD member, is proud to announce its designation as an official licensed vendor for Made in USA socks in partnership with America250, the bipartisan organization charged by Congress to lead the commemoration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

As part of the partnership, Wilson Brown will design, manufacture, and distribute its signature Brown Dog socks in celebration of America’s historic anniversary.  Each pair will be proudly Made in the USA, supporting domestic jobs and honoring the nation’s enduring tradition of manufacturing excellence.  Licensed products such as Wilson Brown’s socks will help drive awareness, engagement, and national pride leading up to the milestone America250 Semiquincentennial in 2026.

“We are honored to be part of this historic celebration”, said Callum Brown, Owner/President of Wilson Brown.  “Producing high-quality American-made socks for America250 allows us to showcase the best of US craftmanship and contribute to a movement that unites Americans in pride and purpose”.

The America250 Commemorative Sock Collection will be available through select retailers, online platforms, and official America250 channels beginning in December 2025 and throughout 2026.

About Wilson Brown

The Wilson Brown story began in 1979, when Russell Wilson founded a small sock distribution company called Pro Feet, dedicated to supplying quality socks to retailers and the U.S. military. His energy and customer-first approach quickly earned loyalty across the industry, and within a few years, Pro Feet became a trusted name in athletic and performance socks.

In 2018, the company officially became the Wilson Brown Sock Company, a name symbolizing both its heritage and its renewed mission. Today, Wilson Brown owns a family of niche brands—Brown Dog, Pro Feet, WB Workwear, and WB Originals.

At the heart of it all is a conviction that making things in America still matters. The company has invested heavily in North Carolina knitting operations, technology, and training for the next generation of American sock makers. “We’ve always believed our socks do more than provide comfort—they support the individuals who build, protect, and move this country forward,” says Callum Brown.  “Partnering with America250 lets us celebrate that legacy on a national stage.”
