The Gaffney Police Department in South Carolina partnered with Liberty Uniform Mfg. to update their professional image while supporting a growing focus on community policing. The department’s 50-member team, including reserve officers, received new Class A uniforms designed for both appearance and functionality.
The selected uniform features a light grey poly/cotton poplin shirt paired with black trousers detailed with a light grey stripe. This combination provides a modern, approachable look while maintaining durability, breathability, and comfort for daily wear.
Liberty Uniform worked closely with Chief Gerald Knight and his team through wear testing and product evaluations to ensure quality and performance. Officers report high satisfaction with the new uniforms, which project professionalism, enhance department pride, and support stronger relationships with the Gaffney community.
