There are roughly 15,000 individuals in the Verizon retail attire. These individuals work in their retail stores across the US. The program consists of modern blade polos (short sleeve & long sleeve), black jeans and a black puffer as a layering piece.
While a polo is at the heart of the new Verizon program, the blade polo is not your typical, traditional shirt. This polo has double faced knit, and a pique cotton front for a retail-inspired look. Smooth performance knit backing with moisture wicking allows for comfort, and was an important consideration, given that the work environment and weather conditions vary greatly within the Verizon store footprint. A 3D-printed Verizon logo ties the program together for a modem, clean and on brand look.
A recent update to the retail interiors influenced the overall apparel design created by Cintas, and helped produce a cohesive brand image that allows employees to dress for their day with ease and flexibility.
The entry process for the 2024 Image of the Year Awards as well as NAUMD’s other recognition programs will open late fall. Check the website and keep reading The Pulse for updates, or contact rick.levine@naumd.com to learn more.
