Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) is the nation’s largest privately held manufacturer, seller, and distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages. It had been quite some time since they had refreshed their apparel program, and they were looking for a partner who understood their needs. Enter Design Collective by Cintas.
The 2,326 drivers, warehouse employees, technicians, and supervisors wear a uniform program consisting of polos, tees, pants, shorts, and outerwear. Cintas curated a collection that performs to the highest standards in an industrial environment but still maintains a crisp look, modernizing the program with carefully selected pieces featuring brand-right colors and contemporary silhouettes.
But style shouldn’t exist without substance, so many of the items have moisture wicking properties, are breathable, water repellent and insulated, and contain mechanical stretch. Best of all, this program adheres to Pepsi’s ambition to do right by the planet and their employees. Design Collective accomplished this with Repreve®, a Unifi material made of 100% recycled plastic bottles — so there’s brand DNA in every fiber.
The entry process for the 2024 Image of the Year Awards as well as NAUMD’s other recognition programs will open late fall. Check the website and keep reading The Pulse for updates, or contact rick.levine@naumd.com to learn more.
