Metrolinx, Ontario’s largest transit agency, partnered with CIMA Uniforms to deliver a refreshed uniform program for its 2,000 employees. Serving train operators, bus drivers, station staff, and maintenance teams, the collection balances durability, safety, and modern design. 

Key garments include performance shirts, pants, outerwear, fire-resistant gear, and high-visibility accessories—each tailored to job-specific demands and Ontario’s varied climate. The program prioritizes comfort, inclusivity, and functionality with gender-neutral designs, ergonomic fabrics, and weather adaptability. 

Extensive stakeholder engagement, wear testing, and safety evaluations shaped the final collection. High-visibility 3M reflective elements ensure compliance and safety. A phased rollout across 13 facilities streamlined distribution, earning strong internal feedback and reinforcing Metrolinx’s professional image. The new program elevates branding while meeting the practical needs of transit operations.
