November 16, 2020 marks an important milestone for our enduring national carrier, as Qantas celebrates 100 years since it was founded, in the Australian outback.
From pilot training in Egypt in the 1920s (pictured) to hosting 1960s rock stars, donning psychedelic crew uniforms, and launching some of the world’s longest commercial flights, Qantas has come a long way since its early years of conquering the “tyanny of distance”.
