After postponing its January debut due to the pandemic, the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is now scheduled to open this spring as part of Hilton’s Curio Collection portfolio. Formerly the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, the revamped resort will house just over 1,500 guestrooms and a 60,000-square-foot casino.
That opening will be followed by the debut of the Virgin Hotels New Orleans this summer. Located near the city’s Central Business District, the 230-plus-room property will feature an outpost of the brand’s Commons Club food-and-beverage concept as well as a rooftop pool and lounge, gym and meeting and event spaces.
In the fall, the Virgin Hotels New York City is set to debut in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood. Spanning 463 rooms, the high-rise project will feature ground-floor and second-floor retail space, as well as amenities like a pool, several dining outlets and a rooftop bar.
