This week’s member is new to the network.  NAUMD welcomes New Universe Corporate Clothing, which opened its first factory in 2000.  Today, it owns 5 fully certified manufacturing plants in Sri Lanka with a monthly capacity of 275,000 to 300,000 pieces. All of its factories are accredited with various standards, including WRAP GOLD, SMETA SEDEX, HIGGS, SLCP, BSCI, GRS (Global Recycling Standards), SVCC Sustainability Viscose Chain of Custody Standards, and BCI Cotton Initiative.

New Universe manufactures a wide range of clothing, including corporate wear, workwear, hospitality wear, hospital wear, hi-visibility clothing, waterproof clothing, FR and other industry clothing as well. New Universe manufacturing capabilities include fully structured tailoring such as suits and blazers, shirts and blouses, and outdoor coats with and without waterproofing, pants and jeans, soft-shells and fleeces, polo’s and t-shirts, combat trousers shorts, chef wear, hospital range also scrub suits, and hi-visibility entire range.

New Universe provides a range of services, including complete product delivery to the customer’s doorstep. Additionally, it offers tender support to customers for samples, fabrics, testing, and more. The company can work on CMT, FOB, CIF, or DDP for any volume of order or value.
