Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office move from blue to green in new uniform release

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is updating and upgrading their uniforms, with the biggest change being the color.

Instead of their normal blue uniforms, deputies will be sporting a new green uniform with a new patch design.

Officials say the change will make it easier for citizens to recognize the deputies and stand out from other agencies.

The new patch features the BCSO badge between an American flag and South Carolina state flag on a black background with gold lettering
