Sea Island Resort is a luxury property on the southeastern coast of Georgia. The uniform program’s designer for this Image of the Year winner, Cintas, was charged with creating an apparel program that was retail inspired, functional, and comfortable given the heat extremes of the area. The resort also wanted outfits that reflected the the property’s historical elements and southern charm.
To achieve these goals, Cintas incorporated two new floral sublimation prints for the Cloister Front Office & Concierge as well as for The Cottage Concierge. They also introduced a new playful fish print for Southern Tide restaurant, retail inspired plaid shirts and a sand-washed cotton apron to give a rustic look for the general Food & Beverage employees. Because it is often very hot and humid, fabrics are both breathable and infused with moisture management technology.
